There’s something about a Southern porch that makes milestones feel even sweeter. This week, Magnolia & Pine celebrates its very first year in business—and I can’t help but pause to soak it all in. What began as a dream on the porch with a notebook, a vision for timeless Southern style, and a whole lot of faith has blossomed into something far greater than I imagined.
The Heart Behind Magnolia & Pine
Magnolia & Pine has always been about more than clothes and home décor. It’s about creating a lifestyle rooted in tradition, hospitality, and grace. From the timeless dresses you slip on for Sunday service, to the blue-and-white pieces that turn a table into a story, every collection has carried the heartbeat of our motto: Live Southern. Dress Timeless.
Over the past year, I’ve watched this little boutique grow into a community of women who value classic style over fleeting trends. You’ve shared your homes with me, joined me on lives, and welcomed Magnolia & Pine pieces into your own Southern stories. That’s a legacy I don’t take lightly.
A Biscuit Tower Instead of Cake
To mark this anniversary, I wanted to celebrate in true Southern fashion—with a biscuit tower. (Because what says homegrown heritage better than warm, buttery biscuits stacked high with a flickering candle on top?) Each biscuit represents the layers of hard work, prayers, and countless memories built over the past twelve months.
Instead of balloons and confetti, I leaned into what Magnolia & Pine stands for: a table set with care, florals in bloom, sweet tea poured into glass tumblers, and that iconic tower crowned with a golden “1” candle. Simple. Timeless. Southern.
Gratitude from the Porch
This milestone isn’t just mine—it’s ours. From the first order that shipped out wrapped in tissue and ribbon, to the countless notes of encouragement I’ve received along the way, Magnolia & Pine has grown because of you. Whether you’ve been here since day one or just found us this season, you’ve become part of this front-porch family.
So here’s to the first year of Magnolia & Pine—and to the many years ahead. My hope is that every dress, every home detail, and every little story we share together inspires you to embrace a life that is equal parts timeless and Southern.
With all my gratitude,
— Ashton
